Granular fertilizers
Fertilizers are chemical products obtained by synthesis or processing of raw materials containing elements in sufficient quantities to improve mineral nutrition and ensure high and sustainable yields of agricultural crops.
All fertilizers in Ukraine are classified according to certain characteristics:
- agrochemical purpose;
- quantity and type of nutrients;
- solubility in groundwater and availability of elements for plants;
- physiological action on fertilized soils.
By agrochemical purpose, fertilizers are divided into direct and indirect. Direct fertilizers contain all the necessary elements (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, etc.) for fertilizing cultural plants. Indirect fertilizers are applied to improve the structure of the soil or increase the activity of its constituent nutrients. Thus, to neutralize the acidity of the soil, chemical land reclamation is carried out - liming (Wonder Soil PH UP granulated limestone is introduced), and when the pH is alkaline - plastering.

Direct fertilizers, in turn, are divided according to the content of the main nutrients:
single-component or simple, containing one main power element and are divided accordingly:
- Nitrogenous (AMMONIUM NITRATE PULAN, UREA PULREA +IN)
- phosphorous (SUPERFOSFAT MAKOSH with trace elements (B, Zn, SUPER FOS DAR 40))
- potassium (KALIUM MAKOSH, Korn-Kali)
kompleksnye eto containing two or three main elements of nutrition.
According to the number of basic nutrients, complex fertilizers are called double NP (SULFOAMPHOS NP 20:20 +13 S), PK (MAKOSH 18+ B, Zn), NK and triple NPK (NPK 15-40-10), the latter are still considered .
Fertilizers can be physiologically acidic, alkaline and neutral. Physiologically acidic fertilizers include ammonium sulfates (Wonder Soil NS 21-24) and potassium chlorides (KALIUM MAKOSH), the cations of which are absorbed by plants, and other anions acidify the soil. Physiologically alkaline fertilizers include nitrates and phosphates of calcium and sodium, where anions are absorbed, and cations create an alkaline environment in the soil. Physiologically neutral fertilizers include ammonium nitrate and monoammonium phosphate, which are completely absorbed by the plant and do not change the acidity of the soil.
According to the degree of solubility in soil moisture, fertilizers can be divided into water-soluble and soluble soil acids. All nitrogen and potassium fertilizers are soluble in water and are most easily absorbed by plants, but are quickly washed out of the soil by precipitation. Fertilizers soluble in soil acids make up the majority of phosphoric fertilizers in the form of monocalcium phosphate (MAKOSH PHOSPHATE). They enter the solution state much more slowly, but are stored longer in the soil.
By form (or by physical properties), fertilizers are divided into ordinary and granular. Granular fertilizer has low hygroscopicity, does not clump during storage, does not weather when applied to the soil, and is not washed away by rain for a long time. In addition, they can be introduced into the soil with the help of a spreader and a seeder.
Based on the above characteristics, in most cases the price of fertilizers will depend on the quality of the fertilizer (the content of available elements), the quantitative content of nutrients (single-component and complex), the type of granulation and the purpose of their use.
You can buy fertilizers from your personal manager of the MAKOSH company, who will provide quality advice on the availability, cost, and timing of fertilizer delivery to your farm.
