They form the basis of the plant nutrition system. However, even with an optimal supply of macronutrients, obtaining maximum yield is impossible without a sufficient amount of micronutrients. Plant requirements for micronutrients (B, Zn, Mn, Fe, Mo, Cu) are measured in grams, but their role is critically important. They regulate enzymatic processes, enable photosynthesis, root system formation, flowering, fruit setting, and increase plant resistance to adverse conditions.
