Makosh Strengthens Logistics: The Company Acquires Grain Trucks for Transportation in Ukraine

Makosh has taken a strategic step in developing its agricultural infrastructure by acquiring four modern grain trucks to strengthen its logistics operations across Ukraine.

The project partner is Scania Ukraine, which supplied modern road trains adapted to the needs of the agricultural sector.

This decision is part of Makosh’s long-term strategy aimed at improving logistics efficiency and enhancing customer service.

Strengthening Makosh Logistics: Greater Flexibility and Stability

Previously, the company relied entirely on outsourced transportation services. The acquisition of its own grain trucks enables Makosh to:

  • plan logistics more flexibly during peak seasonal periods;

  • respond more quickly to customer needs;

  • reduce logistical risks;

  • increase the stability and predictability of deliveries.

At the same time, Makosh continues to cooperate with external logistics contractors. The new grain trucks operate in combination with partner carriers, reinforcing the company’s existing logistics model rather than replacing it.

In today’s agricultural market conditions, logistics control and flexibility are critical factors for farm efficiency.

Beyond Fertilizers: Comprehensive Logistics Solutions for Farmers

The newly acquired grain trucks are used not only for transporting mineral fertilizers but also for:

  • grain crops;

  • agricultural products;

  • other agricultural cargo.

Logistics operations cover the full supply chain — from farms to elevators, ports, and logistics hubs — enabling farmers to receive comprehensive support within a single partnership.

Scania Transport Solutions for Ukraine’s Agricultural Sector

Under the first agreement between Makosh and Scania Ukraine, the company received four modern truck combinations that will operate nationwide.

  • Tractor unit: SCANIA R 460 A4x2NA

  • Semi-trailer: STAS AgroSTAR

This combination of equipment ensures efficient and safe road transportation of agricultural cargo.
